Cal/EPA Agency-Wide Environmental Management System
Public Comment Period and Hearing Announcement
The California Environmental Protection Agency (Cal/EPA) announces a public comment period and two public hearings on its Environmental Management System (EMS) Project. The public is invited to participate at the following locations:

The public hearings are being conducted in accordance with Division 34, section 71045 et seq., of the California Public Resources Code as a forum for public comment. Cal/EPA will consider comments on the following documents:
- DRAFT Selection Criteria and Descriptions of Proposed Pilot Projects
- DRAFT Model Pilot Project Work Plan
- DRAFT Evaluation and Monitoring Parameters

Cal/EPA will accept verbal and written comments at the public hearing. If you are unable to provide your comments at one of the noticed public hearings, Cal/EPA will also accept written comments received by June 1, 2000, at the Cal/EPA contact address listed above. Cal/EPA will consider all comments when adopting the pilot projects and revising the documents listed above at the conclusion of the comment period. A response to all comments, as well as to the selected pilot projects and final documents, will be posted on the Cal/EPA Web site in July 2000.
