Circulation of Materials / Checkout Policy

Materials in the CalEPA library circulate to staff only, under the following guidelines:

• Reference materials (books and cd-roms) and the current issue of all periodicals generally do not circulate and are for use in the library. Upon special request, short term loans can be made for books.
• Cal/EPA staff may check out back issues of journals and videos for 2 weeks.
• Documents, electronic resources (such as non-reference electronic resources) and books circulate for one month.

Materials in the CalEPA library generally do not circulate to the general public, but can be used here in the library.

• With the permission of the individual collection staff, materials can be circulated via interlibrary loan through their local public or school library.
