SACRAMENTO -- California Secretary for Environmental Protection  James M. Strock released  the following statement in response to the announcement of Cal/EPA Undersecretary Jack Pandol's forthcoming  return to his family farming business.

"For more than two years, the Wilson Administration has had the benefit of Jack's outstanding leadership, expertise and insights. The same tough, smart, common sense approach he employed to dramatically cut pesticide usage while expanding the production of his family farm has led to key achievements in environmental protection.  

We look forward to his continued participation in statewide environmental improvement following his return home."
