The CalEPA Library serves staff and the public by providing print and electronic resources including books, journals and other periodicals, research reports, and reference materials. Topics covered include air pollution, atmospheric science, climate change, economics, epidemiology, green chemistry, pesticide use, public health, recycling, renewable energy, toxicology, waste management, water use and other environmental science topics within CalEPA’s scope. Library staff provide reference document retrieval and interlibrary loan services.

- ARB/DPR Catalog. Search the Air Resources Board’s collection and the Department of Pesticide Regulation’s collection.
- DTSC Catalog. Search the Department of Toxic Substances Control’s collection.
- Online Journals. Browse a list of the library’s online journal subscriptions and a list of open-access online journals.
Search materials and services provided by organizations such as the California State Library and California universities. Many of these resources are available to staff through interlibrary loans.
